The Pt. Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

For memorial day we went to the Pt. Defiance Zoo with some of our friends. While the animals were fun, the girls enjoyed the playground far more. They have really upgraded since the last time we went.

Here's Courtney. She had a blast riding on the seal at the Pt. Defiance Zoo. Nothing like getting out of the house for a while!

Aubrey has had a thing for snails ever since she got one as a pet last year during school. She named it slirmy. Anyway that is a whole nuther story. This one is about the zoo. Needless to say the snail shell was right up her alley.

This is Whitney and her friend Anna pretending to be eggs. YES! EGGS! They sat really still for about a minute then would crack open so baby birds would come out. Of course they were the birds too, not quite sure how that works. But that is the great thing about pretending.

Whitney also wanted a chance in the shell, she was a hermit crab though. No snail for her!
