As you can see she was very excited! It was wonderful. I can't believe I have an 8 year old already! CRAZY! She was baptized by her dad and it made me so happy that he could do that for her. It was really special to see the bond between the two of them as she came up out of the water and looked at him, and after she got confirmed she shook hands with some and hugged others, but jumped up to Daddy, and he carried her to their seats. It was sweet and yes, I am getting sappy again :). I can't help it when it was such a special, wonderful time in her life.
My brother Chad gave a talk on the Holy Ghost and we could tell he had a strong testimony of it, although we had a miscommunication and he had prepared for a talk on Baptism. What a guy, it was a last minute talk that really brought the spirit to the meeting.
She was baptized as a child of record and so was baptized with another boy from our stake. She got baptized first, poor kid, she was shivering as she changed back into her dress. She was so thrilled and her voice got really high and squeaky and she told me "I'm baptized Mommy, for real. I'm baptized" When she said the last baptized she went really squeaky and was smiling so big. It was sooo sweet. The excitement was almost too much for her little self.

That's about as excited as someone can get! I may have to show that to the missionaries. I'm glad that everything went well =). Wish we could have been there!
