DADDY'S HOME!!

Here are our sweet little pj hula dancers. Aren't they cute? They loved their new costumes. Aubrey can't wait until Hawaiin day at school. She was funny, Dan brought some for me too and gave them to me before hers, and she laughed and laughed, she was rolling on the floor. Then she saw that she got some too and thought they were uber cool, and couldn't wait to try them on. It made me laugh.

The highlight of the evening was Whitney's desire to be the envy of everyone. Dan brought home a stone to put in her crocs. Aubrey saw it and said "that is soo pretty, I really like it" to which Whit said "Do you wish you were me Aubrey." Totally serious. She said this, I had to turn around and laugh silently while Dan told her that was not a nice thing to say or think. He had a hard time keeping a straight face too. Yes, she might be a little, ok a lot selfish. Then Dan pulled out one for Aubrey too. Aubrey was so excited, and Whitney was excited for her too! "We are twiners Aubrey!" Aubrey said "yup" See so she is not all selfish, just mostly! :) We are working on that.

It is really wonderful to have him home. Time seems to stay still while he is away, things still get done, and the girls still learn and grow (me too) but it just doesn't feel right until he gets home. This thought leads me to think of how Heavenly Father feels about us and how he will feel when we get home to him. I couldn't talk with Dan for a week, first time I haven't talked to him for more than like 12 hrs for 9 years! I didn't like it. It also made me realize another reason for prayer. Heavenly Father misses us, I just know it. Yes Jimmy, that was sappy too, but I have sappy thoughts some times.

Oh and good news, I am still alive, my chances for survival were pretty high evidentally. He likes me! :) YAY!!! He wasn't happy with the lawn and hoped I "learned a lesson" which I did. PUSH MOWER from now on! Just kidding! My lesson learned was to check my work before I go all the way around the yard!

Well, I'm glad that you're still alive...btw, where was Dan? Did he go to Hawaii (hula skirts)? I know how you feel, it is nice to have them home =). The girls look fabulously tropical, but I wanted to see yours =P.
