So this year Aubrey didn't want to be a princess, or a fairy, or a cowgirl, or anything cute. Her exact request was " I want to be as freaky and scary as possible. I want to be a vampiress. So here is our take on that. She had to go with her own hair, but the picture turned out wonderful. I left the red eyes in for effect. Don't vampiress' have red eyes?
Here is our sweet little cowgirl. She had a horse that you could put on, but decided she wanted everyone to see her beautiful dress instead of the horse. You'll see it below. As you can see from the above pics and this one below, we decided not to carve our pumpkins this year but paint them. The girls felt more involved this way and had a blast. Courtney is so silly, we paint alot and she has painted before, but for some reason she kept trying to EAT the paint. No idea why. It tastes gross. I kept wiping it off her tongue and she would willingly stick her tongue out to get the paint off. So why keep trying it? I'm guessing she thought, " Huh, this is blue, wonder what it tastes like" followed by an "OH GROSS!" Then she got brown and thought "Huh, this is brown, wonder what it tastes like" followed by an "OH GROSS!" Continued on through all the colors she used.
Here is my platinum blonde. She found the wig and really wanted to put it on. So helped her put it on and while she liked the way it looked, she didn't like the way it felt. She said "Mom, this is much too itchy." She is soo funny. So for trick or treating she left the horse in it's stall and ditched the wig.
I had the cutest pink pegasus, unicorn outfit for Courtney, but being the little stinker she is she absolutely would not put it on. So I joked that she was a kid for Halloween because you really don't see too many of them that night, and she is a monster every other day! :)

Well, the boys say she was freaky and scary - so mission accomplished Aubrey. I loved Whit's cowgirl outfit, especially the dress. The boys did not recognize her in the wig. And Courtney is just too cute, blue tongue and all!
Hey, Aubrey is ready for the 'Twilight' movie! (Not that I would ever reccommend it for her!)
Looks like you had fun for Halloween too. I just posted our Halloween pictures on our Henrichsen family blog. See what you think!
So Freaky Aubrey!! Great Job!
FUN! WISH I WAS THERE! LOVE MOM
