Catching up...

Ok so it has been like a month. A lot has happened and this will be a long post with lots of pics and info. They are in no particular order, I don't have time for that! :) Anyway here goes.

Here we have Aubrey and a kid I think is Whitney, her smile doesn't look quite right. But that's okay we love her still. This is on opening day of fishing. Dan took the two older girls and left Court and I at home. While they had a good time on the "little lake" with the "little boat" they didn't have any luck catching any fish. Guess we need Tutu and Grandma here for that!

Oh I LOVE to watch T-ball. They are so cute! Little bobble heads running around the bases not sure what to do. At one point Whit was spinning in circles out in the out field and another kid was doing handstands. It was great. Then Whit found some flowers and started picking them. It was T-ball at it's best. Whitney is one of two girls on the team, but she doesn't seem to mind all the boys. She has so much fun running the bases and she even ran to first instead of third! (She ran to third EVERY time during practice. See improvement already!)
Aubrey is also playing baseball but I haven't gotten any pics of her yet. I plan on taking the camera tomorrow!

Easter was a great time, Courtney is a little ham, but wouldn't stay still for a picture with all three girls together. I let the other two choose their own clothes for Easter. I think they got it mixed up with Christmas, but that is ok. They still looked beautiful!

We dyed, sparkled and shrink wrapped eggs this year. It was fun to experiment with the brown and green eggs to see what would happen to them.

This year Courtney was more for eating the eggs, than coloring them.

Everytime I see a picture of Aubrey she just seems bigger and bigger. I love this little girl.

One morning Aubrey was reading the Friend Magazine and I was looking at some parenting magazine so Courtney got down and got a magazine for herself, climbed back up into her chair and started "reading" it. She is such a ham!

She has no fear. She pushes the picnic table close enough to the bar so she can climb onto while holding the bar.

She also stands on top of the table and asks for you to hand her the bar. Once she is in place with everything she needs she jumps off the table and swings. My other two would NEVER have done this at 2. She doesn't seem to have any fear of any animals either.

For about 2 weeks she fought me everytime I wanted her to take a nap. Well finally I didn't try, I put a show on for her while I napped. This is how I found her about 20 min after I turned the show on. The little stinker!!

I also had a great mother's day. The Friday before Mothers day Aubrey's class had a Mother's Day Tea. (Apple juice was served to those of us don't drink tea) But it was so cute. Aubrey and the rest of her class had to earn the tea cups we used, (I forgot my camera and am kicking myself now!) Mine was beautiful! They are real tea cups her teacher has collected over the years and none of them are the same. They also had to earn a gift for us. Mine was a little tea lite candle and holder all wrapped up beautifully. (they earn theses by doing there work in class, turning homework in on time, etc.) Aubrey made me a wonderful placemat and worked really hard to make it a special day for me. We also got entertained by the kids doing 3 little plays. They are so CUTE and so fun! Aubrey did great! I love being a mom and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world!

Aubrey has been entertaining herself at my expense lately. She will purposefully drop something in front of me, then say "oops" as she looks at me. Then she'll say "behold, the art of bending" then she will flourish her hands as she bends over double to pick up whatever it is she dropped. She thinks this is highly amusing. I told her that this was my last pregnancy so she better get it in while she can. Someday she will be the pregnant one and I'll be the one demonstrating the "art of bending"! :)

A post for Nana

Whitney was so cute last night, she was putting her pj's on and she said mom what are you going to do when all of us are all growed up? And I said I don't know maybe I'll get a job or maybe I'll just come visit you all the time. And she said but you don't know where I'll live. I said won't you tell me where you'll live and she said I'm gonna live by Nana. I love her so much, and I want to see her everyday. It was so cute. She sure loves you Nana!

New Car

With a new baby coming we needed a car that seats 8. I know your thinking um Jenae 4 kids plus 2 adults equals 6. But I watch two kids before and after school and will continue to do so, so that is 6 kids... So you see I needed more space. Of course if you ask Dan I didn't NEED more space, I could have stopped watching the kids, but I like to feel like I contribute. Even if it is not NEEDED it is fun to have some extra cash. Anyway here is the car. I had another "need" 4wd. I am tired of being stuck at home in all the snow. I also like it cuz now we don't have to take the truck and the van when we go boating, we all will fit and be able to tow the boat.

It has a navigation system and a DVD player. It has more stuff too I just can't think of it at the mo, oh it has a sunroof as well. :)

We didn't take one of the back seat, but it has 3 more seats in the back, I liked the expedition because of the split seating, in the middle row I can have the kids enter on one side and exit on the other, and have Court's car seat in the middle. And the back row I can have 1 kid sit in the back (like on long trips) and fold two seats down for storage, or have 2 kids in the back and fold one seat down. It is sooo nice. I really like my new (to me) car.

New Hamsters

Our little hamsters that were completely free! I went to petsmart and was talking with one of the workers about how I had hamsters when I was little and she asked if I wanted some. Evidently the store doesn't sale male hamsters and they had gotten two accidently and had to adopt them out. So I said sure. Then I have a friend (thanks Nicole) that gave me a cage, bedding and food. Enough for at least half of the hamsters life! Dan wasn't happy about more surprise animals (I said guess what I got some goats! once. ) But got used to the idea. Aubrey was thrilled. Anyway here are some pics of the 'lil guys.

I don't know what to call this post...

I haven't posted in a while, I'm not sure why. We had an ultrasound of the new baby and it was another girl. Not that we won't love her... but I'm pretty sure I was hoping for a boy. I am sure having 4 girls will be great. (Never mind that EVERYONE I know that is pregnant are having boys, seriously not one other girl out of about 10 people. I guess she will have her pick of boys when she is older!) I might be a little jealous and sad that I can't give my hubby a boy. I think I was more sad because I knew this was going to be my last child. We are done, which is a good feeling boy or girl! :) And it is easier for the whole clothes, room sharing, bathroom things. And my girls love eachother so much, that it will be nice to have another one to love. The funny thing is that A and W both wanted a brother. C of course doesn't even realize that there is a baby in mommy's tummy. I tried to tell her, but she doesn't get it. On a brighter note the baby is kicking and turning like crazy! The older girls felt her move for the first time the other night and that was great! A baby is an amazing wonderful thing! It was so fun to watch W's eyes light up and hear her giggle everytime the little one moved. A was just as great, she would say "I can't wait to meet her! I can't wait until she is old enough for me to say, I've seen your brain!" (she came to the ultrasound and thought that was really cool) Oh I had a funny thing happen. I was asleep and had a dream that there was this huge earthquake that seemed like it was going on forever. I finally woke up and the baby must have been doing jumping jacks in there, my stomach was dancing around like crazy! It is so good to know that so far so good a healthy baby girl. I do make them really cute... so I can't complain there. ;) Really I can't complain at all. D is a great dad to the girls. This next story will be appreciated by his family, he came home from work the other day and the girls all went and tackle/hugged him. He had A on one leg W on the other and was holding C. He walked/drug his feet to the carpet, then laid down. They laid and snuggled for a minute then A got a devilish look in her eye and said she would be right back. She came back and whispered something to W who got the same look and giggled. Then they got C and told D that they would be right back. They all came back with spray bottles of perfumes and lotions. He got up so fast, ran up the stairs yelling "NO, I have young mens tonight!" All three chased him up the stairs giggling. Then he comes bounding back down the stairs and shuts himself in our room. The girls are not too far behind and saying "Daddy" in really high pitched girly voices. They finally gave up after chasing him around for about 10 min. Another one that made me smile was one night for FHE the girls wanted to do makeup for the activity. After a little bit I had to go put C to bed. I came back down to find D painting W's nails. It was sooo cute! He is a good guy. I know he wanted a boy to, but I think he took it better than I did this time!

Totally unrelated thought. Yesterday the girls D and I went and played outside. We had the goats out and the chickens and D and A were playing catch, W was in the sandbox and C was splashing in puddles. I looked at them all and thought this is how life is supposed to be. I am happy and can't wait to have my last child join us! It is weird how life seems almost complete. Once this new little wonderful person comes I think it will.

A is great. She has been really into cooking lately. She has and easy bake oven and makes all sorts of creations and is having a blast doing that. She likes to make soup from a can like tomato or cream of mushroom and add different spices to see how they taste. I think her favorite is Oregano. Her schooling is giving me a bit of a headache, they are talking about closing the gifted program. I'm not quite sure what to do with her if that happens.

W is a little sweetie pie. Sure she drives me crazy, but she really doesn't mean to. She had a joy school lesson the other day on warm fuzzies and cold pricklies. She has been trying really hard since to make sure she gives me warm fuzzies! So cute. She also has been saying, "Mom would you take a hug and a kiss?" And I say of course I'll take those! She is getting exited from Special Ed Pre-school which is HUGE! She is just doing so well. No more speech either! They want to keep her as a peer model. To show the other kids what's up! ;) I think that is great since there is nothing wrong with her cognitive skills. In fact her teacher says she is too smart for her own good sometimes. Which I agree with! :)

C is a riot. She is almost always happy and laughing. She is the first one to give D a hug when he gets home, she LOVES babies (this actually makes me a little nervous!) She has become quite the helper. She loves to clean up messes, wipe the table, help put dishes away and push the wet clothes into the drier. Her speech wasn't improving as fast as the speech therapist would have liked so she moved into a 2 day a week 90 min class instead of 1 a week 60 min class. What does this mean for me? Well it means Tues are crazy! At 8:30 I drive for 8 min to drop off A at the bus, then I wait for the kids I watch to go to school. Then at 9:00 I drop W off at Joy school (about 10 min away) and then come home (about 15 min home) then head off to C's class at 11:00 (takes about 20 min from my house) then I have to go pick W up from Joy school at 12:00 to have her back at the school (about 10 min) for her Special ed Pre-school, only to turn right back around and pick C up from her speech at 1:00! Then I get to go home and put C down for a little nap before I have to go back to the school at 4:00 to get A off the bus! So that is fun... C gets soooo tired of getting in and out of the carseat by the end of the day that she has a meltdown. But it will all be worth it when she is doing as well as W!
